To continue your practice with the study of Geography, you may explore a little more with the Rand McNally website. Remember the username is hcpss and the password is classroom. Choose Games and Activities from the Left Navigation Bar.
Once you have explored through that site some, you may have free time on PBS Cyberchase. Click on the picture below.

Grade 3
This week you will learn some more information about the Water Cycle. You will begin the lesson by watching a video about the Water Cycle and then writing 3 things you learned about this topic. You will use Kidspiration 3 to take notes about the different parts of the cycle.
Grade 4
This week we will complete our Who Knew PowerPoint activity and get to know some information about the students in our class.
Grade 5
This week we will either complete an activity about the Water Cycle and the effects that pollution has on the Chesapeake Bay or complete an activity on the Thirteen Colonies and the characteristics of the Northern, Middle, and Southern Colonies.

Today we will work on a combined Media and Technology class activity. In Media class, you completed a survey of questions about yourself and your preferences of different things. Your Media teacher has given it to your Technology teacher and now we will create a PowerPoint with some of your answers. The PowerPoint has been created for you, and you will now need to open up a slide and add your picture, taken in Photo Booth, to the slide and answer the questions.
Once you have completed the activity, you will begin another round of Dance Mat Typing.

You will access Comic Life application and take one picture of yourself that is appropriate. After you have inserted the picture you will insert words that describe and tell about yourself. These words may be words that tell about your favorite sport, hobbies, or words that describe your character. A complete task will include one appropriate picture and at least 5 describing words.
